Australia Wide Books

Half the fun of going exploring in your 4wd is just packing your gear and setting off for the wide open spaces. There's no need to plan every detail of your trip, work out in advance where you'll be every day or follow a schedule. You can go pretty much anywhere you want, change plans on impulse and stop wherever you like. It's a great sense of freedom, just having a good vehicle with all the kit you need and being able to do your own thing.

Of course just because you're going where the mood takes you doesn't mean some reference material isn't handy. When the fuel – or worse, the VB – starts running low you need to be able to find the nearest place to get more. If you're looking for a campsite you'll get bored just driving around in search of one. Being able to find things to see and do is also great, especially if you have the kids with you. That's why a couple of touring guides are handy things to have with you, and the ones from Australia Wide are hard to beat.

The Australia Wide handbooks are aimed at anyone who uses campsites, whether you take a caravan or sleep in a tent beside your Ute. Inside their covers you'll find thousands of listings for places to stay, complete with all the information you could need. Exact GPS coordinates make every site easy to find, they're all rated for quality and there are great lists of all the facilities you'll find. If you need to know which campsites are pet friendly, where you can dump your rubbish or if there's space for your oversized caravan, just open the book and check. There are loads of photos too, so you can decide if you like the look of the site before you go there.

We wouldn't go anywhere without the latest Australia Wide campsite directory ready to hand. You shouldn't either. Constantly updated, Australia Wide guides are the Yellow Pages of touring. You just can't beat them.
